A new ‘Welsh Heat’ has been introduced to The Pitch 2011 .
The Pitch 2011 is looking for a new wave of entrepreneurs to pitch their idea to a expert panel. The panel will assess their business viability and pitching skills. Four lucky entrants (plus a wildcard chosen by the public) will then move through to the central London final where the winner will receive a prize package worth around £50,000.
The dates for the entry to the ‘Welsh Heats’ are as follows; applications must be received by 12th June, while The Pitch will be held at the University of Glamorgan on the 12th July.

The ‘Welsh Heat’ will also incorporate a half-day conference featuring expert speakers sharing their tips for entrepreneurial success. Among them will be Stuart Jolley, Cardiff University graduate, founder of Wingman and star of BBC2’s Britain’s Next Big Thing presented by Theo Paphitis.
