What comes to mind when you think of an Entrepreneur? Well the Gobal Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) website has a page dispelling myths about Entrepreneurship, as I’m sure some of us have a stereotypical vision in our head combining a mix of images and personalities from The Apprentice. Now of course this tv programme is great in showing the potential of these individuals, but can sometimes leave reality behind in the thirst for viewer figures! Here are some commonly held myths from the GEW website about Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurship. . .
These are all MYTHS!
Use the link below to find out the facts and uncover the truth.
Let us know what you think of these myths, have you got any interesting/inspirational stories from people you know (either personally, or from the media) who doesn’t fit the typical ‘mold’. Drop us a line below in the comments section!
A reminder that the Google Adwords webinar provided by flying start is tonight 6pm-7pm (15th November). This time Dan Sodergren will be showing you how maximise traffic towards your website through Google Adwords.
This course will be valuable to anyone who wants to drive a large amount of visitors (read: potential clients/customers!) to their website. Think how effective the sponsored adverts are in driving us so easily to amazon or tesco etc. when searching for ideas for your friends/brothers/auntie’s birthday presents!
Student Enterprise would like to know your opinions regarding these webinars . . . So drop us a line in the comments section telling us what you think including how helpful you think they are?
